Flying Dog Poet Laureate Contest It is well known that Flying Dog often uses the line 'Good People Drink Good Beer" which came from a great poem that Hunter Thompson wrote for Flying Dog founder George Stranahan. The poem in its entirety is far less recognized, but I figured it is time to change that. "There is an ancient Celtic axiom that says 'Good people drink good beer.' Which is true, then as now. Thompson, but we are sure you have hidden writing talents of your own stuffed somewhere behind the wall of your cubical. Flying Dog is holding a beer poetry contest to honor Dr. Gonzo's words of wisdom. Should you win, we will send you this Ralph Steadman signed skateboard, a Gonzo T-shirt, a Flying Dog Flag and some other sweet Flying Dog swag.
