Beer vs. Wine Smack Down

It’s the third year in a row we’re throwing it down with Siema Wines. This time, beer is out for blood. 

Here’s a look at Agrodolce’s always-amazing menu: 

First course: Mixed hors d’oeuvres

  • Beer: In-Heat Wheat Hefeweizen 
  • Wine: Lovisolo Pinot Brut

Second course: Spicy seared Ahi tuna, sesame-miso aioli, pickled daikon

  • Beer: Single Hop Imperial IPA with El Dorado
  • Wine: La Cappuccina Soave

Third course: Winter squash ravioli, brown butter,  toasted almonds, baby spinach, roasted squash

  • Beer: Limited edition Pumpkin IPA
  • Wine: Casa Larga CLV Chardonnay

Fourth course: Seared rare Kobe beef sirloin, barbera-thyme reduction, kale

  • Beer: Doggie Style Pale Ale
  • Wine: Salvano “Fosco” Dolcetto d’Alba

Various cheeses

  • Beer: Brewhouse Rarities Vineyard Blonde
  • Wine: Breaux Vineyard Vidal Blanc

Dessert: Milkshake with caramel apple ice cream, Brewhouse Rarities Cinnamon Porter, and apple-peach wine whipped cream
